At its heart, Frolic in the Fields is more than just a wellness event—it’s a movement. It’s a bold response to the historical and ongoing exclusion of Black, Indigenous, and racialized communities from mainstream wellness spaces. By intentionally centering the needs, voices, and practices of these communities, Frolic in the Fields invites us to redefine what wellness looks and feels like on our own terms.
Under its second year, the getaway is set against the gentle rhythms and serene natural beauty of Niagara Falls, this 2-day experience—happening from July 25–26, 2025—offers more than rest. It is a homecoming. A return to ourselves, our communities, and the healing practices that have always been ours. This year, we’re inviting you to join a community for a weekend of joy, liberation, and restoration.
Imagine this…
You arrive on a warm Friday evening and step into Gibbos Restaurant, where the air hums with laughter and music. It’s our Business Networking & Welcome Mixer 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM, and you’re surrounded by fellow entrepreneurs, wellness practitioners, and creatives—all gathering to connect, share stories, and ease into the weekend. There’s a feeling of alignment, of knowing you’re in the right place.
The next day, you wake up to the sounds of nature and make your way to the Falcons Inn—our retreat space nestled in the heart of the Niagara Region. Here begins our Wellness Day Retreat from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The morning opens with inspiring talks from facilitators who look like you, speak like you, and hold space like our grandmothers did—gently and powerfully. You take part in workshops rooted in cultural wisdom, engage in dialogue that nurtures the soul, and enjoy a buffet lunch with fresh, nourishing food.
Then comes the lavender.
As the sun stretches overhead, you join a guided movement session in the lavender fields. The scent is calming, the breeze is soft, and for a moment, time slows. Your body remembers rest. Your spirit remembers joy.
A day like this is available to you for $150, but if you register before June 27th, you can secure your spot for just $100.
Shuttle service is available from Bramalea City Centre to Falcons Inn, with a small additional fee—making your journey stress-free and community-centered from the very start.
So whether you’re a returning client, a first-time attendee, or someone who’s simply curious—this is your invitation to frolic with us. Come with your friends. Come with your story. Come home to yourself.
Because rest is resistance.Because joy is medicine.Because healing is our birthright.
